New York! New York!

Simon and I had a wonderful trip to New York last week.  It was great to be part of all the enjoyment of Carter and Lilah as they danced, ran and played around my folks house.  Children have an energy and love that is like no other:)  It was wonderful for my brother and Christine to join us in Troy for our visit, it would not have been the same without them all.

I am sure my parent's enjoyed having everyone home at the same time, something that hasn't happened in years.  Mom and Dad were amazing as always and kept us all happy, rested and well fed:)   We were home for my Dad's birthday and he enjoyed the time with us and his scratch off's and wine, but most importantly a day off from work:)

I have been craving Fudge Fancies and hit the local bakery to get my fix and while  we were there, we decided to get large frosty cookies for the kids, John you know you still love me:)

My mom was running around like crazy to make sure all was going well and that my baby shower would go just as planned and of course, it was perfect.  I was able tosee my Nanny, aunts, cousins, cousins wives and their many children.  Everything was great and we received some great gifts too!  I am as big as a house and Nanny doesn't think i will make it to March, if I do this little girl will be a big one. If you are thinking I may be carrying twins, the doctor thought I may be at first to, but nope, just one big girl.

It was quite a whirlwind weekend and in the end neither Simon or I wanted to return back to Utah.  We already miss the east coast and hope to be living there sometime in the near future.
